Appearance;;
The most noticeable thing about Angela at first glance would be her hair. Like most normal girls, her hair is long and reaches up to the edge of her waist. Her bangs are long, exceeding past her eyes and while leaving only the center of her forehead to be revealed. However, unlike most other females, the color of her hair is pure white except for the few highlights of silver. Because of the bright and equally odd color of her hair, she was usually talked about and made fun of by others, mostly in school. Angela use to get easily upset about it when she was younger, but nowadays, it doesn't bother her as much as it use to. When seen at a close distance, her eyes can appear as a very dark shade of green but will sometimes seem brighter when seen outside or in the glow of bright lights. If anyone were to notice, her eyes are brighter in the Spring and Summer and darker during Fall and Winter.
Angela may seem very skinny in her loose-fitting clothes, but her body has a firmly-built structure, or at least, she doesn't have the figure of a stick and has some muscle and meat on those bones - especially since she hikes and walks around a lot. Her skin is a rather light, kind of bright and shiny - not close near the line of being called pale and not very tanned either. She spends most of her time outside a lot - whether snapping photos or simply caring for or playing with the Pokemon of her parents ranch or her grandparents daycare. One could say she has flawless shin, but that would only be half true. Having worked with some unruly Pokemon in her time, she has acquired a scar or two and may obtain a few scratches but hides them well. Considering herself to be a somewhat experienced photographer, Angela can always bee seen with a bright red digital camera in hand or clipped to the pack around her waist. To see her without her camera, anyone who knows her well enough would notice something might be wrong.
As for the clothing she wears, Angela's trademark colors are green, white, blue, black, and red, hence you will only see her wearing outfits with these colors in them. She also can be seen in long or short sleeved shirts and skirts. Occasionally, she will wear pants and jeans but prefers wearing more girly clothes since she happens to be rather girly herself. Her most favorite thing to wear would be the sailor outfits, specifically, the ones mostly worn by Japanese high school girls. Her favorite, and also the one she can mostly be seen in, would be the black one - in which the bottom of the skirt and short sleevs are lined in a thick white edge, followed by a white collared cape with a thick black trace just above the bottom edge, with a white-striped emerald tie, and long white sleeves underneath the top along with short white cuffs with a middle black ring in between. As for shoes, she usually wears black casual or dress shoes when in skirts and a variety of different color sneakers when wearing pants or jeans.
Angela doesn't really wear a lot of accessories but does own quite a few bracelets, necklaces, and a couple pairs of earrings. Though, she can usually be seen sporting a miniature pack around her waist that's mostly all pockets, even on the strap and sometimes, a larger, or rather, normal-sized backpack that containes items for far travels or her school supplies.
Personality;;
Angela is a very open young girl and is very willing to get to know others. Even so, she can still have a hard time starting up a conversing, and can sometimes find that to be difficult when she has nothing in common with the other person. Also, with the fact of her hair, she doesn't like to converse with others in awkward situations where they may only notice her because of her bright-colored hair and are unable to avert their gaze, particularly when at school where there are many judgmental individuals. When meeting others for the first time, being clear and understanding with each other is what she finds most important.
She is incredibly kind and just as helpful. She is more than willing to help anyone that asks for it, whether they are a friend or a total stranger. Even so, she is a good judge of characterand believes that all people are generally kind at heart. So in most cases, she won't have to worry about putting herself in any type of danger that she knows she will be unable to handle. Though, there will be some cases in which she won't have to think twice about helping someone in a dire situation at her own risk, which she has done many times before.
Being as trusting as she is, Angela is sometimes betrayed and deceived easily. Although, it hasn't led to her lose anything of great value, usually resulting from things as minor as white lies, misunderstandings, and money - which only relates to her older brother who always barrows small amounts of cash from her and sometimes doesn't pay her back. She has a very peaceful nature, and it is rare to see her angry at someone or something. With her brother, that's very different since sibling rivalry is a very common household issue between brothers and sisters living under the same roof. She won't hesitate to display her emotions in front of anyone, especially friends, when overwhelmed about something. But some things she simply will not talk about unless she knows the person cares about helping her to get over the problem or situation.
Energetic and adventurous, this girl has a hard time being in one place for too long when she has too much free time on her hands. As one would guess, one of her biggest hobbies is photography - not only does she like to take pictures of anyone and anything that does and doesn't move, but she also likes sending photos to her mother. She is all too eager to start a journey with Pokemon of her own like her brother has - and still is. Even though she's ready to start a Pokemon Journey, she isn't sure how she wants to go about it. She could be either a Trainer, a Coordinator, or a Breeder. Although her family is sort of pushing her to become a Breeder, she would also like to participate in Pokemon Contests. She doesn't travel a lot, but loves to when she gets the chance, especially when visiting her mother in Goldenrod City of the Johto Region.
History;;
Angela happens to be the middle child of her family. Dylan, her eldest brother being six years older than her and the younger brother, Ben, seven years younger than her. As far as the living arrangements of the Thornton’s go, the seven of them, or rather, the six of them all live in a somewhat large and spacious house in the town of Solaceon. Everyone had a room to themselves, expect the parents and grandparents, of course. Nothing major really happened during the early years of her childhood - other than the fact that she was almost always surround by Pokemon daily, there was never too much else. However, there were a couple of events she hasn’t been able to get over.
There was the small incident at her grandparents’ daycare involving a couple of Ghost Pokemon. It happened when she was about six years old or so, but she would immediately visit the Pokemon daycare to see her grandparents as she usually did every morning. She can’t remember what she did to provoke the Duskull and Mismagius, but it got them both enraged enough to start using their attacks on her. And of course, being a young toddler at the time, they scared her quite easily and inflicted quite a few minor injuries to her small form. This short scuffle only lasted a few minutes and was ended by her grandmother who used Roserade to intervene. Since then, she had developed a deep fear over Pokemon of the ghost type - staying as far away as she could from them and having the need to run from the sight of them.
Almost two years later, her mother moved to Goldenrod City without giving any warning to her children the previous night. Days after, Angela learned that her parents had divorced, and at the time, she had no idea what the word meant, but still didn‘t like the idea of her parents splitting up like this. Neither her mother or father told her why they decided to split up, but always told her that it couldn‘t be helped and was going to happen sooner or later if not right here and now. When she would ask Dylan, he would only tell her that she was be too young to understand. And when he refused to tell her, she went to her grandparents, who would tell her that her mother wasn’t as in love with her husband as she thought and simply decided to leave. And after hearing about the possibility of a step-mother within the next year, she became heartbroken. Even if she didn’t understand the divorce completely, she didn’t want a new mother, she wanted her mother.
She couldn’t have been expected to take the news any better than she had, especially since she and her mother formed a very close and special bond between one another. Since her mother nor the terms of the divorce would allow the children to live with his wife, Angela’s father thought it might be wise for Angela to stay with her Aunt in Jubilife City - not only to have time alone to herself, but so that she could start school with some sort of motherly figure she was use to being around.
