Sandgem Town has rather rough, snady terrain, which is, of course, how it recieved its name. Sandgem Town is home to Professor Rowan's laboratory, where constant research is done. Beginning trainers will come here to recieve their first pokemon.

The outskirts of Sandgem town are covered in a variety of large trees; it is like a small maze, so be careful to not get lost. There is also a sandy area at the end of town that leads to the beginnings of Sangem Beach.
